Angell Charolais is a family operation owned by Sally and Justin
Angell. Their helpers include Schyler, Sierra, Savannah
and Selestia.
History.
Angell Charolais began as a 4-H project in the late
80's for Sally. She started out like many other
4-Her's with
one heifer to show. Years later expansion was made
with purchases from herd dispersals including Broken Bow Charolais, Broken Bow, NE in 1996,
Swartzendruber Farms, SD in 1998 and Bowman Charolais
Ranch, Bowman, ND in 2004. By 2008, the Angell Charolais
herd had increased to 150 females.
We have always known proper
bull development was important to the soundness and libido of
young herd sires. Thus, we
became a founding
member of
Professional Beef Genetics (PBG), a group of seedstock
producers who wanted to chart a new course in bull development,
marketing and customer service.
Ten years later, PBG is
hosting their 21st sale based on selling superior genetics in a
low pressure format.
